BD, the global medical technology company, has been an instrumental partner of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, providing product donations and cash support for the maternal and neonatal tetanus program (pledging a total of $15 million in cash and in-kind assistance), the fight against HIV/AIDS and other emergency aid.

BD employees have also been very involved in supporting UNICEF's work through a number of fundraising and employee-giving campaigns.

BD Executive Vice President Gary Cohen serves on our Board of Directors while BD Chairman and CEO Edward J. Ludwig serves on the President's Council of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF.
