BD, the medical technology company, has been an instrumental partner of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, providing product donations and cash support for the maternal and neonatal tetanus program (pledging a total of $15 million in cash and in-kind assistance), the fight against HIV/AIDS and other emergency aid.

BD employees have also been very involved in supporting UNICEF's work through a number of fundraising and employee-giving campaigns. BD's Executive Vice President Gary Cohen serves on our Board of Directors and CEO Edward Ludwig serves on the President's Council of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF.
