Partner since 2001

Kimberly–Clark has historically been one of the most significant corporate supporters at the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, with nearly $7 million donated since 2001. It was one of the first U.S. companies to provide support for children orphaned and made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS, contributing $3.9 million to UNICEF’s programs in Africa, Latin America and China.

Most recently, Kimberly–Clark has focused on investing in UNICEF programs that help ensure healthy futures for children in India and Brazil.

In Brazil, Kimberly-Clark has provided $1.6 million over the past two years for two innovative UNICEF programs that are addressing the needs of some of the country's most vulnerable children in the rural northeast and Amazon regions and in low-income communities of Rio de Janeiro and São Paolo. Kimberly-Clark employees in Brazil have been actively involved in the implementation of the programs in Rio de Janeiro and São Paolo through participation in planning meetings, events and hands–on activities with youth participants.

Throughout the history of the partnership, Kimberly-Clark has helped leverage more than $11 million in donations from U.S. Fund for UNICEF donors through Challenge Grants—more than any other company.
