Pfizer has been a longstanding supporter of UNICEF through in-kind donations, corporate contributions, workplace-giving programs, and special events.

Pfizer has supported UNICEF's emergency relief programs, HIV/AIDS prevention programs in Africa, and efforts to fight acute respiratory infections.

Pfizer was also the largest corporate donor to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF's tsunami relief efforts.

International Trachoma Initiative (ITI)

In conjunction with ITI, the global effort to eliminate trachoma—one of the world's leading cause of preventable blindness—Pfizer's primary support to the U.S. Fund has been product donation of its drug Zithromax.
