Starbucks Coffee Company has partnered with the U.S. Fund for UNICEF to support both UNICEF child protection and water programs, donating more than $300,000 since 2005.

Most recently, Starbucks Entertainment donated $1 for each copy of UNICEF Ambassador and Celebrity Chef Marcus Samuelsson’s cookbook, Discovery of a Continent, with a minimum donation of $50,000. 

Starbucks also donated $2 for every copy of Ishmael Beah's best-selling memoir, A Long Way Gone, sold at their stores and website, with more than $200,000 in donations to date. 

And in 2005, support from Ethos Water—now a Starbucks brand—helped to provide children in Kenya with clean water and improved sanitation.
