UNICEF Clubs

UNICEF Clubs are a youth-led grassroots movement. High-school and college students in the United States play a vital role as the voice for children everywhere. UNICEF Clubs partner with UNICEF USA to advocate for children's rights, fundraise for children around the globe and educate their communities.

What Do UNICEF Clubs Do?

UNICEF Clubs give high-school and college students around the country the chance to work in their community and on campus to pursue a more equitable world for every child. UNICEF USA provides all the resources club members need to:

Advocate for Children

High school UNICEF club members smile and pose in a gym wearing matching shirts that celebrate “World’s Children’s Day” and UNICEF.

UNICEF Clubs help advance the global mission of UNICEF by rallying the American public to support the world’s most vulnerable children. UNICEF Club members take legislative action during key moments throughout the year to push for funding and support for government policies that improve the lives of children.

Educate

Two high school students cross their arms and smile next to their tri-fold poster display recruiting people to join their school’s UNICEF Club.

Learning about children’s rights and helping to spread truthful, reliable information about the issues children face is one of the greatest ways Club members can engage with UNICEF’s work. Build your own skillset, then use it to help mobilize others.

Build Community

Four UNICEF Clubmembers, all young women, pull weeds to help beautify a hillside in their suburban community.

Find opportunities to promote the work of UNICEF in your local community. Your network can help extend the reach of UNICEF programs and priorities through Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, World Children's Day, Advocacy with government officials, Child Friendly Cities Initiative, and more.

Fundraise for Children

On an outdoor athletic field, a group of college students holds a UNICEF flag while standing behind a Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF table covered in candy.

Put your online fundraising ideas to work for children! With UNICEF USA you and your fellow club members have loads of online fundraising options. Set up and help promote online, peer-to-peer fundraisers that contribute to UNICEF’s impact for children. You can fundraise individually or together as a Club.
