Michael Chen

Michael joins UNICEF USA after 10 years at Becton Dickinson & Co., where he progressed through various senior leadership roles, with the most recent being SVP Finance - Integration Management Office. In this role, Michael was responsible for the successful integrations and delivery of the deal financial commitments of two transformative acquisitions BD undertook. Additionally, he was responsible for the integration of the Finance function from the two acquisitions into BD’s Finance organization and its corresponding transformation. Prior to BD, Michael was the VP & Controller for the Oncology business at Varian Medical Systems where he was responsible for all financial aspects of that business unit. Michael also worked at GE early in his career progressing through various finance leadership roles with increasing responsibilities during his 13 years there.

Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Michael enjoys golf, movies, and spending time with his family.
