UNICEF USA Photo Release Policy
The U.S. Fund for UNICEF (“USF” or “UNICEF USA”) maintains an absolute, irrevocable, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide right and license with respect to any film, photographs, sound and audio recordings (collectively, “Images”) taken of UNICEF USA staff-members, volunteers, attendees and/or participants in connection with any events hosted or sponsored by UNICEF USA.
As such, UNICEF USA maintains the right:
- To use, publish and distribute the Images in any and all media now known or developed, published by or under the USF’s authority, in whole or in part, individually or in conjunction with other photographs, images or text, and for any purpose whatsoever, including without limitation illustration, promotion, advertising and publicity; and
- To use a name or a fictitious name in connection with the Images. The Images are and shall continue to be the property of USF and shall have any right of review or approval regarding the use of names associated with or the Images.
UNICEF USA may not be held liable for any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of the use of the Images, including without limitation any claims for invasion of privacy or publicity. Participation in UNICEF USA events is voluntary and no financial compensation of any type is associated with the taking, use or publication of any Images.
