Marimo Berk is a founding member of the UNICEF USA Northwest Regional Board and immediate past Chair. She learned about UNICEF through her mother, who grew up in Japan during WWII. Marimo has traveled extensively to see UNICEF’s work and is passionate about programs that assist children with disabilities as well as refugees. Marimo is co-founder of the Creekside School, a school for children seriously impacted by Autism, and a proud supporter of Breakthrough Silicon Valley, Human Rights Watch, The Tech Interactive (San Jose), SARRC, The Sempirvirens Fund and Second Harvest Food Bank.
