Gucci Flag CollectionSearching for a gift for the socially conscious? Items from Gucci’s Flag Collection benefit UNICEF’s education programs, improving the lives of children around the world. In its seventh year of partnership with UNICEF, Gucci is expanding its ongoing support for UNICEF’s education initiatives by being the first corporate partner to support the Schools for Asia initiative, which provides access to quality education for the most disadvantaged children in the Asia-Pacific region. Twenty-five percent of the retail price of each item in the GG Flag Collection will support both the Schools for Africa and the Schools for Asia initiatives. Designed by Creative Director and 2011 UNICEF Woman of Compassion honoree, Frida Giannini, the Flag Collection is an exclusive line of T-shirts and accessories featuring stylized flags from countries around the globe. “As combinations of colors are symbolic in flags, representing ideals, this new collection further signifies Gucci’s continuous commitment to improving the quality of education in the most disadvantaged areas and for the most vulnerable children,” said Giannini. “I am proud to support these important initiatives, as an education is a gift forever.” The GG Flag Collection is available in Gucci stores worldwide and at www.gucci.com through December 31.
