Register to raise money for Japan at an MLB opening weekend game!

Major League Baseball (MLB) and the MLB Players Association have generously donated to support relief efforts in Japan and are encouraging fans and UNICEF supporters across the country to get involved. Beginning Thursday, March 31 and continuing through the weekend, many of the 30 individual teams will be organizing formal collections in their stadiums for UNICEF.

If you or a friend, family member or colleague are interested in helping, please individually register at www.unicefusa.org/mlbvolunteer. A confirmation email will then be sent to you with all of the details, meeting location, contact point person, and assignment. Please note that we have limited volunteer positions for each game.

Please note that volunteers must be at least 18 years old to participate and it may involve long periods of standing. All transportation or parking expenses will not be covered by MLB or UNICEF USA and are the responsibility of the individual.
