Kelli Peterson is the Director of Corporate Partnership Development at the U.S. Fund for UNICEF. Yesterday kicked off San Francisco's fourth annual SOCAP conference. Billed as the intersection of money and meaning, the event is playing a significant role in reshaping how money can be deployed for social good and with scalable impact. With a roster of speakers this year that includes leaders from Rockefeller, Impact Assets, Acumen Fund, Seventh Generation and Craig's List, SOCAP continues to convene thought leaders rooted in traditional market development mechanics combined with the vision and influence to craft new metrics and financing vehicles. SOCAP is creating the momentum for systemic change. In addition to financiers, it brings designers, social entrepreneurs and the businesses who partner with them to bring new ideas for sustainable community development to fruition. I am excited to be moderating a panel today of folks from UNICEF Ventures, UNICEF's T4D unit and its partners from Frog Design and the Art Center College of Design. Over the last few years they've developed and are continuing to create new solutions based on a unique blend of expertise and partnership. If you catch this in time, come see us today at 11:45 a.m. PST in Fort Mason - it should be informative and hopefully will catalyze more opportunities for partnership!
