UNICEF works year-round to put children first. Join us this summer as we work to help children in more than 190 countries survive and thrive. Here are a few easy ways to volunteer, raise funds and support our mission over the coming months:
Become an Advocate
Did you know that we have advocates working to ensure that children remain on the agenda for lawmakers? We do – and you can support their work. Become an advocate for UNICEF and support our work by writing letters and taking action to show that the world’s children are a priority.
Join the UNICEF Kid Power Team
As you and your family get active this summer, you can also help save the lives of children around the world. Join the UNICEF Kid Power Team with the world’s first Wearable-for-good®, go on missions, learn about new cultures and unlock points to help provide packets of lifesaving ready-to-use therapeutic food for malnourished children around the world. The more you move, the more points you earn, the more lives you save.
Set up a lemonade stand and host a fundraiser
Summer is the perfect time to host a fundraiser that can support UNICEF’s nutrition, education, water and sanitation, emergency work and more. The U.S. Fund for UNICEF makes it easy by providing a toolkit and materials to support a fun, successful event. Imagine how many lives you can save from just one event! Take steps towards a better world
Love to run? You can put those miles to work by running the New York City marathon for UNICEF. Team members come together from across the country to celebrate their love of running, spirit of competition and support for the world’s children.
HOW TO HELP
There are many ways to make a difference
War, famine, poverty, natural disasters — threats to the world's children keep coming. But UNICEF won't stop working to keep children healthy and safe.
UNICEF works in over 190 countries and territories — more places than any other children's organization. UNICEF has the world's largest humanitarian warehouse and, when disaster strikes, can get supplies almost anywhere within 72 hours. Constantly innovating, always advocating for a better world for children, UNICEF works to ensure that every child can grow up healthy, educated, protected and respected.
Would you like to help give all children the opportunity to reach their full potential? There are many ways to get involved.
