The U.S. Fund for UNICEF's Education Department is proud to announce its partnership with May Howard Elementary School located in Savannah, Georgia.

The goal of the partnership is to develop educational resources for young children.

A big "thank you" to educators Lindy Aiken (PreK), Suzanne Fruits (1st grade); Mary Beth Hannan (2nd grade); April Blackmon (4th grade); Rob Amonette (Arts); and Anna Pierce (Guidance Counselor) who are currently piloting the new early primary unit Peaceful Communities for All with their students, providing feedback and ideas to our curriculum development team.

May Howard Elementary School has been recognized by the state of Georgia for high student achievement and is noted for its collaboration with the local and global community as they engage children in service-learning projects related to global issues, such as world hunger and sustainability.
