Saahas

Saahas is a youth advocate from Portland, Oregon. He is passionate about advocating for economic freedoms to education, food access, and healthcare. Through UNICEF and the National Youth Council, Saahas hopes to continue his advocacy efforts, aiming to uplift youth voices in underrepresented hemispheres and progress the global children’s rights agenda. Outside of UNICEF, Saahas is very involved in political advocacy. He has organized youth for multiple state-to-congressional campaigns, interned in the U.S. Senate, and built support for numerous bills. As a proponent of DEI, he strives to build up AAPI communities through his work at ASANA Voices and They See Blue. In the future, Saahas aspires to practice law while exploring the intersection of comparative government and international development.
