Charlotte is a high school junior in Northern California. Her mission is to advocate for children’s health and education, with a particular focus on youth mental health. Alongside serving as a UNICEF Youth Representative, Charlotte co-chairs the Youth Action Board of San Mateo County’s Behavioral Health Commission, where she coordinates with over 23 school districts and organizes county-wide children’s wellness initiatives. In 2020, Charlotte founded The Community Photobooth, a youth-led initiative that leverages photography for philanthropy, raising over $40,000 for global humanitarian causes. Notably, the organization raised $13,000 to relaunch a high school mental health education program at the National Alliance on Mental Illness and produced a documentary about the youth mental health crisis featured nationally on The Drew Barrymore Show and CBS. In her free time, Charlotte enjoys street photography, sketching human portraits, discussing trolley problem variations with friends, and playing soccer.
