Group MD Day

UNICEF UNITEs in Atlanta for Mothers

Young professionals in the city came together to network, inspire, and fundraise together. In honor of Mother’s Day month, UNICEF UNITE hosted a networking social hour to educate young philanthropists on the issue of Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus which affects mothers and their babies around the World in 14 countries. This disease is completely preventable, and vaccines only cost $3 per mother and vaccinates her and all of her future children from tetanus.

UNICEF UNITE Atlanta celebrated at Public School 404 in West Midtown and raised enough money to vaccinate 220 women and their babies.
