VIDEO: UNICEF Child-Friendly Spaces Provide Hope and Safety in Sudan

UNICEF child-friendly spaces offer children in war-torn Sudan a safe place to learn and play.

Sudan's brutal civil war has left more than half the country's 24 million children in urgent need of humanitarian aid. Almost the entire child population is out of school.

UNICEF Communication Manager Mira Nasser shares the stories of some of the 400 children between the ages of 3 and 18 who attend a child-friendly space at October North School in Gedaref, Sudan.
